Keep more of the steel value here
Mills, merchants, fabricators, and contractors can keep more steel value on the continent instead of shipping it away as finished goods.
Africa still exports ore and scrap and imports too many finished sections, coils, and modules. That pattern is a political fact and a practical waste. Value chains are how a people keep the work.
A serious steel house does not pretend every country needs a blast furnace next year. It does insist that cutting, drilling, welding, coating, and stocking can live here — beside the ports and the inland corridors.
